David Madison, 20, was arrested after disrupting Spring ISD's morning bus route on Monday, facing charges including aggravated assault on a public servant with a deadly weapon, attempted aggravated kidnapping, and making a terroristic threat. The incident occurred near 24505 Birnam Wood Blvd., where Madison allegedly followed a female student in an SUV and tried to forcibly remove her from the bus, as reported by Click2Houston.
Surveillance footage showed Madison blocking the bus, brandishing what appeared to be a gun, and boarding before eventually leaving the scene. Before departing, he threatened the student, saying, “I’ll get you later,” as noted in Spring ISD court documents.
Madison was arrested after trying to force a former student into his vehicle and then onto a bus, where he grabbed her arm and hair, as stated in court records and shown on bus surveillance. Spring ISD said there is no ongoing threat and added extra security for the week, as per KHOU. Madison had a probable cause hearing on Tuesday and a protective order was issued. His next court appearance to set bail is on Wednesday. He remains in custody, with no bond information available.
