
A man was left critically injured after his e-scooter collided with a Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) bus in East Las Vegas, according to local authorities. The incident occurred around 11:55 a.m. when, as reported by FOX5 Vegas, the man riding an e-scooter eastbound on Flamingo Road toward Spencer made contact with the rear side of the bus as it approached a bus stop.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department indicated that the man clipped the bus pulling into a bus stop at the intersection, throwing him off his e-scooter. Having fallen, the bus subsequently ran over the man's leg. The investigation into the collision has been taken over by the LVMPD's traffic units, according to information obtained by News3LV.
First responders arrived at the scene to provide medical assistance. The injured man was rapidly transported to Sunrise Trauma for treatment. At this time, his condition has been described as critical but stable, with specific injuries to his leg. While the investigation continues, details surrounding the incident remain scarce.
