
In the early hours, a man was fatally shot in Pittsburgh's East Hills neighborhood, prompting an investigation by local law enforcement. According to a report from WPXI, the incident occurred just before 2 a.m. on the 2300 block of East Hills Drive. Responding to a reported shooting, Pittsburgh Police discovered the victim, who had suffered a gunshot wound to the head, behind a building.
The officers on the scene provided aid to the man until medics took over. Sadly, the victim succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to an area hospital. As of now, details surrounding the motive and circumstances of the shooting are scarce, and an arrest has yet to be announced. Pittsburgh Public Safety hasn't released the identity of the man as investigations continue.
