This follows an alert indicating a 20-round ShotSpotter activation on Foliage Street in Wilkinsburg at 7:15 p.m., with an additional shot detected on Ardmore Boulevard just 25 minutes later. A BP gas station on Ardmore Boulevard was found with its windows shattered, an image that speaks to the night's violence.
The connection between these incidents remains unclear, but authorities are looking into whether there is a link between the ShotSpotter alerts and the man's injuries. As noted in a WPXI report, bullet holes and broken glass punctuated the scene at the aforementioned BP gas station, suggesting a shooting had indeed taken place there.
