Eric Labrosse, 41, of Menomonee Falls, faces multiple felony charges following allegations of sexual misconduct with a 13-year-old girl, a matter which has spurred deep community concern and legal scrutiny. According to WISN 12 News, Labrosse is accused of soliciting the minor for prostitution and second-degree sexual assault of a child. These charges arise amid police reports that Labrosse paid the young girl $60 for sex acts at the Cherry Pit Recording Studios, a property records show he owns.
Authorities were alerted to the situation by a local hospital after the victim reported the assault during a therapy session, as detailed in the criminal complaint. Investigations conducted by Menomonee Falls police revealed through examination that the child's phone contained nude photographs and evidence of communication via Snapchat with Labrosse, including a transaction for $60 on the victim's CashApp application, as WTMJ reported. Notably,, tenants of the recording studio property have disavowed any connection to the owner's alleged illicit activities.
The case, which has reached the Waukesha County Circuit Court, has the potential of levying a heavy prison sentence upon conviction. Labrosse, if found guilty of all counts, could spend up to 155 years behind bars. In light of the gravity of the situation, Court Commissioner Christopher Bailey ordered a $40,000 cash bond for Labrosse on several conditions, including no unsupervised contact with minors and avoidance of sexually explicit materials, as outlined in reporting by GMToday.
Labrosse says he didn’t know the girl’s age and claims she was helping clean the recording studio. However, the complaint shows they had exchanged messages, including explicit images, for at least a week before the alleged incident.
