The Metropolitan Police Department is on the lookout for five individuals implicated in a recent robbery on H Street, Northeast. The incident took place last Tuesday, at about 10:05 p.m., when a victim was attacked by the group and robbed of their belongings.
As captured by surveillance cameras, the suspects assaulted the victim, who, after a fall to the ground, was further attacked and stripped of property. The victim, as per the MPD report, sustained minor injuries during the ordeal. Following the assault, the suspects hastily fled the scene, leaving behind a trail recorded by the street's watchful electronic eyes.
In an effort to apprehend the suspects, the Metropolitan Police Department has released surveillance images and is asking for the public’s assistance. Authorities urge anyone with information not to approach the suspects but to contact police. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
