There will be no garbage or recycling pickup on Wednesday and Thursday, and collection days will shift forward after the holiday. Parking meters and hourly enforcement will not be in effect on Thursday, and overnight parking enforcement will be suspended Wednesday night into Thursday morning and Thursday night into Friday morning, though vehicles must still be legally parked, as reported by the DPW Milwaukee.
The tow lot will be open on Wednesday but closed on Thursday, and Drop-Off Centers will be closed both days. Regular city hours return on Friday, December 26, and residents can request services at milwaukee.gov/Click4Action, through the MKEmobile app, or by calling 414-286-CITY.
