
In Mooresville, North Carolina, the Iredell County Sheriff's Office arrested Brittain Lee Nichols, a registered sex offender, on the charge of felony sex offender supervision of a child. The arrest occurred subsequent to receiving a tip that suggested Nichols was potentially training minors at a local business. Detectives undertook the investigation and confirmed that the accused had been training juvenile employees at the establishment. Nichols, 32, had previously been convicted on five counts of felony indecent liberties with a student while he was a teacher in Lincoln County, which placed him on the Sex Offender Registry.
