According to KHOU, the crash occurred around 9:20 p.m. on Woodway Drive near Chimney Rock Road. The Houston Police Department has confirmed that the rider, heading east at a high rate of speed, lost control of the motorcycle, veered off the roadway, and collided with a tree situated in the center median, resulting in the rider's immediate death.
