Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking public assistance in identifying a man who has been hospitalized since being struck by two subway trains nearly two months ago. According to NBC New York, he was brought in by EMS on October 15 after being found unconscious at 100 Central Park West. Because the patient has been unable to provide identifying information, the hospital is using AI technology to reconstruct his face in an effort to help with identification.
The man is described as being in his late 30s to early 40s, with black hair, facial hair, dark brown eyes, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighing 153 pounds. Mount Sinai Morningside has shared an AI-generated image of him to request information from anyone who may recognize him. The hospital also mentioned that he speaks English, which could assist in engaging the community’s help.
The hospital has provided contact information for anyone who may have information about the man. PIX11 reports that individuals who recognize him are asked to contact Kelly LaTerra, the associate director of social work at Mount Sinai Morningside, by calling 212-523-2123.
