
Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect involved in a stabbing incident in Northwest DC. The Metropolitan Police Department has sought help from the public following an altercation that turned violent on November 21. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, at approximately 9:35 p.m., an individual was stabbed during an argument on the 300 block of V Street, Northwest.
The MPD has reported that the confrontation began when the suspect, whose identity remains unknown, engaged with the victim who was standing outside. The dispute quickened to an assault as the suspect stabbed the victim. Following the attack, the assailant fled the area, and the victim was forced to seek medical attention at a nearby hospital for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Given the gravity of the situation, police are now turning to residents for assistance. Anyone with information that might lead to identifying or apprehending the suspect is encouraged to come forward. The statement provided by the Metropolitan Police Department asserts, "Anyone who can identify this suspect or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411."
