Chad Ollinger, known from the Discovery Channel series "Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch," is accused of murder after 42-year-old Christopher Kelly was found dead in their Clark County Detention Center cell. Ollinger told police he has a "supernatural ability" that made him believe Kelly was a predator, as reported by FOX5 Vegas. Police found signs of a struggle, and Ollinger admitted to strangling Kelly but said he has memory gaps after traumatic events.
Police said the fight between the two men was confirmed by nearby inmates who reported hearing a struggle and screams for help. Kelly, who was in jail for a parole violation, died during the incident.
Chad Ollinger, who was previously in custody as a fugitive and for a contempt of court charge, has been rebooked for open murder.
