By 11:23 AM, they reported, "Police Activity on US-395 Alt Both Directions from Pagni Ln to Eastlake Blvd. All lanes blocked -avoid the area use alternate route," blocking traffic in both directions between Pagni Lane and Eastlake Blvd.
A partial reopening was reported at 12:05 PM: "Southbound US395 Alternate is now open between Pagni Lane and Eastlake Blvd." Southbound traffic was allowed, while northbound lanes remained closed for police activity, as stated by the Nevada State Police.
The road fully reopened at 2:00 PM, according to the Nevada State Police on their Facebook page: "US395 Alternate now open in both directions Eastlake Blvd - Pagni Lane." Drivers were advised to be cautious, and the details of the police incident were not released.
