Around 3:00 a.m. on Monday, more than 20 New Berlin DPW plow and salt trucks were deployed. Crews began a lengthy operation to treat city roads due to deteriorating conditions, according to the City of New Berlin's Facebook post.
Earlier rain combined with gusty winds and low temperatures can create hazardous driving conditions. Motorists are urged to use extra caution when approaching intersections, hills, and while making turns, as reported by the City of New Berlin.
When encountering plow and salt trucks, please give them plenty of room to safely do their work. Allowing crews space helps ensure safer roads for everyone.
