Nine builders have opened model homes at Legacy by Hillwood in League City, allowing buyers to view the community’s ranch-style streetscapes as well as its planned lakes, parks, and trails. This launch represents the beginning of an initial phase expected to include approximately 510 homesites, with lot sizes ranging from 50 to 80 feet and prices starting in the $400,000s and extending into seven figures. The developers state that the new model center, along with early move-ins, is intended to influence the neighborhood’s sales pace through 2026.
Model center opens with nine builders
According to Community Impact, the current model lineup includes Beazer Homes, Coventry Homes, David Weekley Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Shea Homes, Village Builders, and Westin Homes. Collectively, these builders provide a variety of floor plans on 50- to 80-foot lots and an early view of how the community will be arranged for future sales.
Prices, lot sizes and the master plan
Homesites at Legacy by Hillwood range from approximately 50 to 80 feet in width, with prices for new homes starting in the $400,000s and reaching over $1 million for larger properties. The master plan includes roughly 1,630 single-family homes, an interconnected system of waterways, substantial open space, and a future regional park that is planned to be integrated into the community.
Timing: move-ins and amenities
The developer indicates that the first residents are expected to move in during the first quarter of 2026. Construction on the central amenity center is also scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2026 and is planned to be completed in time for a spring 2027 opening, as reported by Community Impact.
Why League City?
Legacy by Hillwood is located between I-45 and FM 528, positioned to attract families seeking new homes near Clear Creek ISD schools and major employment centers. The area has seen broader growth of large, amenity-focused master-planned communities, including Hillwood’s regional development and similar nearby projects.
How to see the models
Most builders are scheduling tours through their individual sales centers. For example, Perry Homes operates a Legacy sales center at 637 Barrel Oak Drive with posted model-home hours. Several builders, including Highland Homes, are also offering quick-move-in inventory, with some homes projected to be completed by mid-2026.
What to watch next
Hillwood’s builder roster in the model center is expected to expand. The developer has added a 10th partner to the lineup, and Partners in Building plans to introduce additional model homes and larger-lot offerings in the coming months, as stated by Legacy by Hillwood. Buyers seeking current availability and pricing are encouraged to visit the community sales office or individual builder websites.
