Last Saturday, North Las Vegas held its annual toy giveaway at City Hall, distributing 3,980 toys to children with the support of local authorities and businesses. The event provided holiday gifts to families in the community, according to the City of North Las Vegas.
Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown said, "It's extremely important that we give back to our community for those kids who are less fortunate and may not have toys," as reported by the City of North Las Vegas. The giveaway aimed to help families during the holiday season.
The City of North Las Vegas holiday giveaway was a multi-hour event with music, food, activities, and raffles for children. Sponsors included the North Las Vegas Fire and Police Departments, local businesses like Siegel Suites and Pinkbox Donuts, and organizations such as Nevada Health Link, Mikasa Helps, Viva Zapata, Alonso Medical Clinic, Inspiration Health, Amazon Loss Prevention, and Del Castro Verde Law. They provided toys, bicycles, gift cards, and food to participants.
