
The North Las Vegas Police Department is urgently requesting assistance from the community in the search for Prentis Buford Sr., a 63-year-old man with dementia who has been missing since Saturday. According to News 3 Las Vegas, Buford was last seen that morning at his residence located on the 5400 block of Pride Mountain Street.
Buford Sr. is a Black male adult, stands around 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighs about 140 pounds with a bald head and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue sweatpants and could be wearing either a white and blue hoodie or gray-colored sweat clothing. According to KTNV, his distinctive tattoos include "lil Pren," "Candis," and a "Scorpion" on his leg.
Police are concerned for Buford Sr.'s safety because he requires daily medication. They have intensified search efforts due to his dementia. Authorities say he may go to familiar places like parks or convenience stores, though he has no bus pass.
