In a routine patrol turned hot pursuit, North Las Vegas Police Department officers, including Officer Razo, were led on a brief chase early yesterday morning. According to a post on the NLVPD's Facebook page, two vehicles, confirmed to be stolen and occupied, were spotted by Razo. Upon the suspects attempting an escape, they quickly encountered the boundaries of their freedom in the form of a literal dead end.
Abandoning their ill-gotten rides, the suspects took to their heels, attempting to vanish into the neighborhood. However, the vigilant NLVPD officers established a tight network of containment, snapping into formation with a level of precision not often seen during the midnight hours. Supported by their K9 unit, the officers managed to track down both individuals.
