The New York Police Department is searching for three suspects following a violent incident on a Brooklyn-bound subway. On the night of October 25, a woman and two men were involved in an altercation that became physical with a 33-year-old man on the southbound "2" train near Nostrand Avenue and Newkirk Avenue, according to an NYPD Crimestoppers social media post.
The victim was involved in a verbal argument with the three suspects shortly after 11:30 p.m., which escalated into a physical attack. According to the NYPD, the suspects punched and kicked the 33-year-old man, causing swelling and bruising to his head and body, and took his black bookbag. Police also reported that one of the male suspects displayed a knife during the assault.
After the assault and robbery, the suspects exited the train at the Flatbush Avenue station and fled on foot. Their current locations are unknown.
