
Tragedy struck Baltimore's Gay Street neighborhood on Friday night when a double shooting claimed the life of one man and left another in critical condition. The Baltimore City Police Department reported that the incident took place in the 1400 block of East Madison Street, where officers discovered both victims with multiple gunshot wounds, as stated by WMAR2 News.
Authorities were called to the scene around 8:50 p.m. and soon after, the victims, a 57-year-old and a 34-year-old man, were quickly transported to a local hospital. There, the younger man tragically succumbed to his injuries. The elder victim is reported to be in critical but stable condition, as confirmed by FOX Baltimore. The exact circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation, and no motive has been released to the public.
