The Department of Justice recently released the results of Operation Relentless Justice, a law enforcement effort focused on child exploitation. According to the DOJ, the operation identified more than 205 children who were victims of exploitation and led to the arrest of over 293 individuals. The two-week effort involved all 56 FBI field offices, working with the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section and U.S. Attorneys’ offices across the country. In the DOJ’s official release, Attorney General Pamela Bondi stated that the department would continue efforts to hold offenders accountable.

FBI Director Kash Patel said the operation reflects an ongoing, year-long effort to address child exploitation. He stated that Operation Relentless Justice focuses on identifying victims and holding offenders accountable. The FBI, working with state and local partners, has carried out several nationwide enforcement efforts across the United States. Federal officials said these efforts involve coordination among field offices.

U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida Gregory W. Kehoe said his office remains focused on addressing crimes involving the exploitation of minors. He stated that protecting children is a priority of the U.S. Attorney’s Office and emphasized the importance of investigating and prosecuting offenders, as well as engaging in prevention and community education efforts.

At the local level, FBI Jacksonville Special Agent in Charge Jason Carley described the FBI’s daily collaboration with law enforcement partners. Matthew Fodor, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Tampa Division, noted that operations like this reflect the ongoing work of special agents and analysts to address crimes against children. The FBI considers these crimes a high priority, and efforts such as Operation Relentless Justice aim to identify offenders, support victim rescue, and bring perpetrators to justice.
