Tomorrow, the Town of Orange Park is set to honor veterans with the annual Wreaths Across America event, where community members will gather to lay wreaths upon the graves of fallen heroes. The commemoration is scheduled to start with a ceremony at 11:45 AM at the Veteran's Memorial Wall located in Magnolia Cemetery, as shared in a recent social media post by the Town of Orange Park.
Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs given seating's limited nature; parking can be found at First Baptist Church on 1140 Kingsley Avenue, so participants should plan accordingly as the ceremony will segue into the wreath-laying activity. Community involvement is a cornerstone of the event, with volunteers contributing to the placement of remembrance wreaths directly on each veteran's headstone, symbolizing a collective gesture of gratitude and memory toward those who've served.
