A disturbing case has come to light in Osceola County, where a man has been arrested for allegedly soliciting a parent to allow a minor to engage in sexual activity. According to the Osceola Sheriff's Office, Zachary Jordan Lazzell was taken into custody after an investigation spearheaded by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit. This investigation was initiated following a tip-off from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

The ICAC unit executed a search warrant at Lazzell's home in Windmill Point subdivision in Kissimmee yesterday. During the search, detectives discovered online chats where Lazzell allegedly expressed interest in committing "incest" with minors and solicited sexual activity with what he thought was a parent or guardian of a 9-year-old child. These findings led to his arrest on charges of unlawful use of a two-way communication device and using a computer to solicit parent/guardian consent for a minor to participate in sexual conduct.

Lazzell is currently being held in the Osceola County Jail without bond. In a statement to local authorities, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office underscored its commitment to public safety and the community's well-being, encouraging anyone with information about similar cases to come forward.

Anyone with knowledge relating to this or other similar incidents is urged to get in touch with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at (407) 348-2222 to assist in their ongoing efforts to combat child exploitation.
