Not all important conversations happen on camera. Today, Oxford House continued its partnership with the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office by meeting with inmates at the Cleveland County Detention Center. This was their third visit and the first to include women, according to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office Facebook's post.
Participation was voluntary, with separate sessions for men and women. The discussions focused on recovery, accountability, and life after addiction, led by people with real-life experience, as reported by the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office.
These visits are about listening, sharing, and offering hope. We’re thankful to Oxford House for continuing to support recovery and positive change in our community, as per the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office.
