Despite the rain, precipitation totals are expected to remain below one-tenth of an inch. Cooler air returns Monday night with partly cloudy skies, lows around 28 degrees, and continued gusty winds.
Conditions moderate slightly on Tuesday, with partly sunny skies and a high near 34 degrees. Looking ahead to New Year’s Day, the forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds with a 30% chance of snow as cold temperatures persist.
