
The Philadelphia Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the community in the search for Jayda Matthews, a 17-year-old girl who has been reported missing in North Philadelphia. According to the information provided by law enforcement, Matthews disappeared on Friday, around 3:00 p.m. and was last seen on the 2100 block of Marvine Street.
While details regarding her last known attire remain undisclosed, Jayda Matthews is described as a Black female, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 125 pounds. Believed to be in the Cheltenham area, the police have been combing through leads and are looking to the public for additional clues that could help locate her.
The Philadelphia Police Department has made an appeal to the public, urging anyone with information on Matthews' whereabouts to come forward. In a statement, they have requested that locals reach out to the Central Detective Division at 215-686-3093 or dial 911 if they have any relevant information.
