The City of Maryland Heights Government recently announced on social media that the non-emergency phone lines for the Maryland Heights Police Department, Government Center, and Community Center are currently out of service. Residents are advised to use email to contact city staff while the phone lines are unavailable.
The City’s Facebook post states that residents can email [email protected] to reach city staff, with messages being forwarded to the appropriate departments. The communications team will make efforts to ensure messages are directed correctly. An update will be provided once the phone lines are restored.
For urgent matters, the City has set up a temporary phone line. Residents with immediate concerns related to City Hall or the Community Center can call (314) 393-2966 until further notice, ensuring that essential services remain accessible while the regular lines are down.
The cause of the phone line disruption has not been disclosed, and no timeline has been provided for the restoration of normal service. The City of Maryland Heights has stated it will keep residents informed and encourages the public to use the provided email for non-emergency communications, ensuring continued access to city services during the outage.
