Placerville’s streets were busy during the 47th Annual Hangtown Christmas Parade. The El Dorado County Fire Protection District participated, and first responders and their families joined in the parade with an "Old Fashion Cowboy Christmas" theme.
The Placerville Fire District's annual parade drew a large crowd, featuring antique fire engines, a modern ladder truck, and a wildland fire engine to showcase the district's capabilities. "Seeing generations of firefighters, loved ones, and community members celebrating together truly captured the spirit of the season," the El Dorado County Fire Protection District said in a social media post.
According to the El Dorado County Fire Protection District on their Facebook page, the district expressed gratitude to the community for their support and noted the high turnout this year. "Thank you to everyone who lined the streets, waved, cheered, and helped make this parade such a special event," they said, adding, "Placerville, you never disappoint! The weather was fantastic for such a great event!"
