The City of Plymouth is launching a new initiative to give the little ones a bit of playtime, offering Preschool Open Gym sessions every Monday. Parents with kids who have an abundance of energy to burn can drop by the Plymouth Community Center between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., starting Jan. 5, according to the City of Plymouth.
According to the City of Plymouth's latest release, the Preschool Open Gym will feature everything from small basketball hoops to soft balls, and from building blocks to gymnastics mats, all with the goal of providing a safe and expansive environment for preschoolers to play in. And if you're a Plymouth resident, it's a mere $6 to have your kiddo join the fun – a couple bucks more, $8, for nonresidents. There's no need for reservations either, just show up, pay at the door, and let the games begin.
