The Burglary Task Force in Portland is calling upon the community for assistance after charging a local woman in connection with a recent burglary. Amber M. Turner, a 39-year-old Portland resident, was apprehended by police while cycling mere blocks from the incident's location, according to the City of Portland. Charged with Burglary in the Second Degree, Turner's case has since been escalated with the involvement of the Multnomah County Grand Jury, which returned additional indictments against her.

Suspected of acting with at least two accomplices during the burglary on November 13, which unfolded at 3:53 a.m. at a Southeast Division Street pipe shop, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) released a video in hopes that the public can help identify the additional persons of interest. Caught when the Central Precinct officers sprang into action following the burglary alert, Turner was booked as she made her getaway on a bicycle.

The PPB has provided an email contact, urging anyone with insights into the identity of the remaining suspects to reach out to [email protected] and cite case number 25-311546, as per the City of Portland. The Burglary Task Force, a coalition featuring the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office along with the district attorney's office, officers from various local law enforcement divisions, and investigators from the Portland Police Bureau, was formed to tackle such cases. Including two deputy district attorneys and a data analyst, the task force draws on extensive resources and expertise to solve burglary incidents across the county.
