
Two men were rushed to the hospital, and two others were detained early Monday after gunfire erupted near N Vista Drive along the North Freeway, prompting constable deputies to fan out in the dark looking for the weapon used.
In a live social media update, Harris County Constable Precinct 4 said deputies were working the scene near the North Freeway service road at N Vista Drive while detectives tried to piece together what led up to the shooting. According to the post, two adult male gunshot victims were taken to a local hospital, and “two adult males are detained at this time.” The precinct added that deputies were still searching for the weapon involved.
North Freeway Corridor Has Seen Previous Violence
The stretch of the North Freeway near N Vista Drive has seen its share of trouble before, including motel shootings and officer-involved incidents in recent years.
