A news release from the City of Raleigh Parks and Recreation Department says the High School Student Council will host an event at a local museum featuring art competitions, live music performances, and a student-run art market for participating students.
The submissions must align with the theme “Raleigh Memory – Progress, Nostalgia, People,” and are open to both visual and literary works. High school students are also invited to apply to participate in the student vendor market, which is expected to feature a range of creative and entrepreneurial projects, as mentioned on the City of Raleigh official website.
The event is free to attend and is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participation is limited to high school students. Additional information and submission details are available through the City of Raleigh. Community members are encouraged to attend the February event to support local high school artists and writers. Organizers said the showcase aims to highlight emerging talent and provide students with an opportunity to present their work to the public.
