Raleigh's citizens have a fresh opportunity to shape their city’s green spaces as Raleigh Parks launches an online survey to gather community feedback on the proposed design for Neuse River Park. This aims to ensure that the park development aligns with the aspirations and needs of the people it will serve. Interested individuals have until Monday, December 29, to weigh in on the park's future, as per the City of Raleigh.
Officials said the survey is part of the next phase in implementing the park’s master plan. Raleigh Parks is seeking public feedback on the schematic design, which outlines proposed features such as trails, play areas, and open spaces, as well as how they connect with the surrounding environment. The input will be used to inform future design revisions ahead of construction.
"Community feedback will help guide the next steps in refining the design and preparing for future construction," expressed Raleigh Parks in a published announcement on the city's website. Officials said the survey is available online to allow community members to share input on the park’s design. The feedback will be used to help guide planning decisions for the project.
