Early today, a Sanford home was engulfed in flames, injuring one resident. As reported by FOX Baltimore, the fire occurred around 5:15 a.m. on the 300 block of Appaloosa Court. Firefighters from the Sanford Fire Department responded to the scene, extinguishing the fire that had taken hold of a residence nestled east of State Road 417 and just south of East Lake Mary Boulevard.
Amid the extinguishing efforts, as they managed to contain the blaze, a single individual required medical attention and was subsequently transported to the hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Capturing the aftermath of the fire, a video obtained by ClickOrlando depicts a charred vehicle in the driveway and visible damage that has scarred the garage and second story of the abode.
The fire department is still assessing the damage from the blaze and has not yet determined or revealed what caused it. In the house fire, one person was injured, but authorities have shared few details so far, leaving many questions unanswered as the investigation continues.
