Law enforcement officials from southeastern Pennsylvania gathered at the Parx Xcite Center for a training session organized by the Police Chiefs Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Retired FBI Special Agent George Piro, known for leading the interrogation of Saddam Hussein, shared "powerful insights" from his experiences, focusing on the psychological skills needed for high-stakes interrogations, as reported by the Bensalem Police Department.
Around 250 attendees were reminded of the 2021 loss of two FBI agents in Miami during a search warrant operation, honoring their memory. Agent Piro emphasized the importance of "preparation, teamwork, and resilience" when facing the dangers inherent in law enforcement service, as stated by the Bensalem Police Department.
David Metcalf, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, attended the assembly to discuss the "importance of partnerships among local, state, and federal agencies" and the support his office can provide for local investigations. According to the Bensalem Police Department on their Facebook page, the event was supported by Parx Casino and the Police Chiefs Association of Southeastern PA. Officers described the assembly as an "invaluable training experience," held at the Parx Xcite Center, where law enforcement personnel received training on strategic and investigative skills.
