A roadside altercation involving two women and a rideshare driver escalated to arrests outside a Harris County constable substation, authorities said. The incident unfolded last Saturday, at approximately 15800 block of Tomball Parkway, where deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office witnessed the disturbance.
The deputies discovered that Beatriz Garcia and Jenniffer Garcia were embroiled in a verbal tiff with their driver. The situation took a turn when Beatriz Garcia allegedly began hitting a patrol car with her fists. As reported by the official Precinct 4 Facebook page, she was then detained by the responding officers.
Jenniffer Garcia, in the meantime, reportedly interfered by pushing deputies and was subsequently contained. The Constable's Office later ascertained that Beatriz Garcia had four open misdemeanor traffic warrants, which led to her arrest.
While processed at the Harris County Jail, further altercations ensued. "Jenniffer Garcia spat at one of the deputies," stated the Precinct 4 release. Consequently, she faced a Harassment on a Peace Officer charge with her bond set at $5,000.00, pronounced by the 486th District Court.
