The Rocklin Police Department is seeking public help in the decades-old case of William Calvin, who disappeared in 1988 near the 4700 block of Rocklin Road. Calvin, a transient at the time, left behind personal belongings and uncashed checks, suggesting his disappearance was sudden and unexplained, as reported by the Rocklin Police Department.
Authorities are appealing to the community for new leads to bring closure to the case, which has remained unresolved for over 37 years. If still alive, Calvin would be 75 years old today, and any information, no matter how small, could help investigators move the case forward, as stated by the Rocklin Police Department.
According to the Rocklin Police Department on their Facebook page, they are asking the public for information on Calvin, a white male who disappeared years ago. He was described as about 6’2”, 155 pounds, with brown shoulder-length hair, blue eyes, and a beard and mustache. "Over the years, investigators have followed up on occasional leads, but all have been exhausted," the department said.
