According to the FBI's announcement, "The #FBI worked around the clock to bring federal charges against a Rocky Mount truck driver accused of a December 26th bank robbery and shootout with arresting officers." During the arrest, a standoff erupted, putting the lives of officers at risk.
The identity of the truck driver has not been released pending further investigation.
