Placer County Sheriff’s deputies carried out a warranted arrest on Cirby Way in Roseville. Deputies said 44-year-old Salvador Roman tried to avoid them by hiding in an attic crawlspace. He was wanted in connection with a felony battery incident reported last Wednesday, as reported by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded just before 10 a.m., and a social media post by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office stated that Salvador Roman hid in an attic crawlspace instead of coming outside. A drone located him, and authorities said he did not make any threatening moves toward the officers.
The standoff ended shortly before 11:30 a.m. when Roman came out and was arrested. According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office on their Facebook page, they acknowledged assistance from the Roseville Police Department and noted Roman was wanted for felony battery.
