Starting today, the city will be shrouded in areas of dense fog up until the early afternoon, and then, just when you might think clearer skies might prevail, patchy dense fog is expected to return after 5pm; and while the sun may be taking a brief hiatus, temperatures are anticipated to hover around a cool 44 degrees, as reported on the National Weather Service website.
Tonight will stay foggy with a low of about 42 degrees, close to today’s high. On Monday, the fog should last until around 10 a.m., followed by mostly cloudy skies. Winds will stay calm, and temperatures will be cool, reaching about 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
Fog is expected again Tuesday morning between 8 and 10 a.m. There is a 30% chance of rain later in the afternoon, with cloudy skies and a high around 56 degrees. Rain is much more likely Tuesday night, with a 70% chance of showers and temperatures dropping to about 54 degrees, as reported by the National Weather Service.
Rain is likely Wednesday morning, with a 60% chance of showers before 10 a.m. The rest of the day will be mostly cloudy, with a high around 61 degrees. Wednesday night may have some dry breaks, but a few showers are still possible, with lows near 48 degrees. Showers are expected to continue on and off through the rest of the week into the weekend, as per the National Weather Service.
