As the holiday season approaches, Sacramento’s Department of Youth, Parks & Community Enrichment (YPCE) has announced a series of free, family-friendly events. According to the City of Sacramento, the schedule features activities such as bingo nights and holiday crafts, offering entertainment for all ages.
Tomorrow, the Clunie Community Center will host Holly Jolly Bingo, a registered event featuring holiday-themed games, hot chocolate, and light snacks. The same evening, the George Sim Community Center will hold the Miracle on Logan Street event, offering festive arts and crafts, refreshments, and a visit with Santa Claus.
The YPCE events also include Meadowview in the Lights, which turns the Sam & Bonnie Pannell Community Center into a winter wonderland. Families can enjoy holiday lights, hot chocolate, popcorn, treats, and raffle prizes. No advance registration is required, offering a relaxed, community-focused experience.
From the holiday lights at Meadowview to the festive atmosphere at Clunie, YPCE is offering Sacramento residents opportunities to create seasonal memories and engage with the community. Those interested in attending are encouraged to check YPCE’s Facebook page for the latest updates and registration information.
