Sacramentans can expect to brush off the haze and fog this morning as the day progresses towards clarity and sunshine, according to the latest updates from the National Weather Service. The city is looking at a high near 52 degrees today, with gentle winds keeping the weather calm and mild.
Tonight, as folks tuck into their beds, the sky will gather clouds, and the temperature will dip to around 41 degrees. Tomorrow promises a similar pattern; the day will begin cloudy, and later unveil mostly sunny skies with the mercury climbing just a bit higher, to around 57 degrees, the calm once again setting the mood.
The clearer skies will stick around through Wednesday, when temperatures are expected to hit 60 degrees. "North northwest wind 11 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph," as noted by the NWS. Evening temperatures midweek will hover around the 40-degree mark under partly cloudy skies.
The pattern of mostly sunny days coupled with partly cloudy nights will continue throughout the rest of the week, peaking near 56-58 degrees during the day, easing into the low 40s as darkness blankets the city. The weekend will not stray far from this script, with Saturday reaching up to 58 degrees and Sunday offering a high near 57 with a mix of sun and clouds.
