The Sacramento Police Department said SPOP officers arrested on December 1 in the 3800 block of Florin Rd, seizing a machine gun with a silencer, ammunition, and a small amount of cocaine from an RV with expired registration tags.
Upon contacting the RV’s owner, 63-year-old Gary Elliott of Sacramento, officers learned he was on probation, allowing them to search the vehicle. They discovered the illegal weapons and drugs. The Sacramento Police Department, described the incident as “another great example of proactive police work,” highlighting the importance of vigilant enforcement in keeping the community safe.
