San Antonio authorities are searching for a robbery suspect who pepper-sprayed a store clerk. The Dec. 2 incident occurred at Smoke Needs & Vape, 8117 Culebra Road, FOX San Antonio reports. Police say the suspect posed as a customer, attempted a purchase that was declined, and then assaulted the clerk.

After the failed transaction, the suspect allegedly pepper-sprayed the store clerk, KENS 5 reports. He then fled on foot with merchandise and cash. No injuries were reported, and authorities are asking the public for help locating the suspect.

The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers are asking the public for help identifying and locating the suspect. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to a felony arrest in connection with the incident.
