Tonight, the city will see an increase in cloud cover with a low around 66 degrees, and those gusty conditions will persist, the South wind will continue at 5 to 10 mph and might surge as high as 20 mph, while tomorrow brings cloudy weather and a high near 79 degrees, maintaining the same wind velocity range. Tomorrow night's forecast indicates a 30 percent chance of showers before midnight, followed by mostly cloudy skies and plunging temperatures to a low around 42 degrees; the south southwest wind shifting to the north at 10 to 15 mph could see gusts up to 35 mph.
The NWS outlines that by Monday, San Antonio will experience mostly cloudy skies and a significantly cooler high near 51 degrees, with the north wind blowing at around 15 mph and capable of producing gusts up to 35 mph. The trend of mostly cloudy nights will continue, with Monday night's low dipping near 38 degrees, coupled with a north wind at 5 to 15 mph and gusts potentially reaching 25 mph.
Heading into Tuesday, the city's weather is expected to be partly sunny with a high reaching near 54 degrees, as the north wind settles around 5 mph before becoming calm in the afternoon, Tuesday night will then cool down to a low around 35 with calm wind conditions. The rest of the week's forecast sees a gradual warming trend; Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 61 degrees, slight south southwest winds developing by afternoon, and the lead-up to New Year's Day points to temperatures in the mid to upper 60s under partly sunny skies.
