The specifics of the Clairemont Community Plan Update include provisions for an additional 14,000 homes, with a particular focus on areas easily accessible by trolley. Mixed-use development is to be encouraged in essential locales such as the Clairemont Town Square. A significant emphasis on pedestrian-friendly infrastructure, such as protected intersections and expanded pathways for bicycles and pedestrians, is outlined in the blueprint, alongside plans for recreational opportunities.
