
Early morning burglary alarms led Round Rock Police to the scene of a break-in at the CVS Pharmacy on University Boulevard, where they encountered and arrested a suspect identified as 32-year-old Erik Banda from San Marcos.
According to the City of Round Rock, the incident occurred on Tuesday. Officers were dispatched around 4:30 a.m. in response to the business alarm. A store representative reported that an unknown individual appeared behind the sales counter on the surveillance video.
Banda was apprehended without incident and is now facing the charge of burglary of a building, which is considered a state jail felony in Texas. He has since been booked into the Williamson County Jail, as per the City of Round Rock.
