The Scott County Sheriff's Office has named the winners of its 9th Annual Holiday Greeting Card Design Contest, a festive initiative that spotlights the artistic abilities of elementary and middle school students in the region. Sheriff Luke Hennen awarded prizes to three young artists, each representing different grade categories, for their creative contributions to the holiday greetings that will be sent out by the Sheriff’s Office.
Landry Badger, a first-grader from Falcon Ridge Elementary School in New Prague, took home top honors among the Grades 1-2 category. Violet Mack, in the 4th grade at Jordan Elementary School, cinched the victory for the Grades 3-4 bracket. Finally, Caleb Marty, a 6th-grade student from East Union's Oasis Program in Carver, was the recipient of the Grades 5-6 winner’s accolade. These students’ designs will adorn the official holiday greeting cards sent to the agency's partners, sponsors, and officials.
