According to a statement from Harrell's office, the city has seen a decrease in crime rates, and efforts to combat homelessness and drug overdoses have shown considerable progress.
In his tenure, Harrell attended over a thousand community events, suggesting a focused outreach effort addressing various concerns raised by constituents. As documented in his office's summary reports, the mayor's frequent press engagements have maintained a front of transparency and engagement with the public.
