A disturbing incident of a parental abduction has culminated in the arrest of Emily St. Clair in Seminole County, as confirmed by the Edgewater Police Department. The mother reportedly removed her two children from their father's vehicle at a gas station located on the 600 block of West Indian River Boulevard last night. These actions directly violate a standing Department of Children and Families court order prohibiting contact with her children, ages 7 and 5. According to WFTV, police reports suggest that St. Clair followed the children’s father to the gas station without his awareness.
Investigations revealed that as the father stepped inside the gas station store, St. Clair seized the opportunity to take Eislee Kraus and Abel Kraus. The children were later found unharmed and returned to their father. In an alarming twist, St. Clair also holds an active felony warrant for drug possession, adding further complexities to an already fraught situation. She has now been taken into custody and is currently housed at the Seminole County Jail, as detailed by FOX35 Orlando.
The Edgewater Police Department immediately sought the public's assistance in locating the children upon discovering their disappearance. The department's swift response led to the successful recovery of the children and apprehension of St. Clair. The police have expressed their gratitude for the cooperation and information received from the community.
